yesterday You blessed me with an offer letter to medicine.

a broken soul in a broken body, Lord you've turned me around and given me a chance to serve Your children.

sometimes the things you pray for others are the exact same thing you should be praying for yourself

guide my heart
my every intention
that i may not break others'

guide my mind
that i may focus on things worthy of doing in Your eyes
and keep it in purity

guide my soul
may i be ever closer to You
let it not be torn asunder by sin again

guide my hands
make them clean
that i may not hurt
but serve

make me an instrument of Your peace, o Lord
i surrender all; lead me Lord

Your mercy found me,
Upon the broken road,
And lifted me beyond my failing,
Into Your glory,
My sin and shame dissolved,
And now forever Yours I'll stand

Lord i'm 2 months away from turning my life around and fulfilling one of the biggest promises i've made to You. to glorify your name through my capabilities. to leave the world in a state slightly better than when i joined it. to ease the pain of the dying, to console the crying.

to make a difference in Your name.


be with me Lord.
that i may maintain humility through all success.
that i may return to being a vessel through which Your Will is done
that people will see my successes and focus not on me, but on You, o Lord

and forever i will give You thanks. i will praise Your Holy name

so cleanse my lips and my thoughts. lead me to cause neither hurt nor pain; but instead bring love, healing and edification to others; that i may be a beacon of shining light for Your glory, as You have always been for us.
